Nesting 101

Mom and Dad are on a rampage today. They are getting the house and themselves ready for my arrival. Dad had new locks rekeyed for the house. He replaced all of the dim lightbulbs. Dad and Mom both got their cars washed and are installing the car seats in each of the cars. Dad thinks the that baby mirror that supposedly allows us to view the baby in the rear facing carseat is a waste of money and is over it, but Mom got him to get it to work. Mom is doing about 6 loads of laundry and putting my room together. I think that they are finally satisfied with the room. Who knows though? The 5 lovely baby showers are complete, thank you notes done with (hello, do you know who my mother is?) The hospital overnight bag is almost completely packed and all we need is the water to break and the contractions to start.

Mom is praying that I arrive after Monday. She slacked on the leaves paperwork and needs to get her boss to sign off on some stuff before she officially goes on leave. Plus her office is giving her a laptop, so she can blog and email photos from the hospital as well as assist her replacement if need be while on leave. No real work, she promises!!!

I think that they are feeling more ready than ever for my arrival!!
