My parents were very busy yesterday. Dad spent all day setting up his office downstairs while mom was spoiled at her first baby shower. They say that my room is virtually ready for my arrival. All of the furniture seems to be in place and now mom feels much more prepared for me to be delivered.
Mom's lovely coworkers showered me with gifts and yummy food. Her coworker Sydney slaved all morning in the kitchen preparing a potato leek gruyere tart and chocolate pot de cremes. While another coworker homemade chocolate cupcakes with almond coconut frosting. Unfortunately mom could not partake in the two desserts, but she brought them home for dad to enjoy. Mom's coworker Lauren, took over decorations and games. I have lots of lovely artsy onesies care of mom's creative work friends. And apparently lots of fun gifts were also given to me. Such a lucky man!! This really is the life!
